Mahindra XUV 500

The Mahindra XUV 500 is a mid-size, sport utility vehicle produced by the Indian automobile company Mahindra & Mahindra. The XUV500 was designed and developed at Mahindra's design and vehicle build center in Nashik and Chennai, and is manufactured in Mahindra's Chakan & Nashik plant, India.

Cabin looked worked drastically, the doublle tone and black themed colour scheme connects well with the beautifull leather upholstered seats only available in the W8 and W10 trims.The base W4 variant has jacquard finish and W6 trim gets luxury fabric upholstery.

Chrome scuff plates  in the entire range for the 1st and 2nd row except for the W10 trim which gets standard scuff plates. Athletic aluminium pedals are only available in the W10 variant.  Blue lounge lighting looks  very soothing and beautifull. Thesix-way power adjustable driver’s seat is fixed in W10 , automatic temperature control  is held in W4 which gets powerly  operated temp control with double hvac.

Tilted power steering is also given on the base and midlevel varients but the high end W10 gets telescopic steering. For thedriver convenience, a six-way adjustable seat is studed in W4 unlike the other trims which gets eight-way adjustable driver’s seat. Talking about the W4 varient it comes connected with the single row LCD display. Mahindra  blue sense App, tyre tronics and emanual are given in the W8 and W10 varients only.

There are a whole lot of features infixed in built for the betterment of the passengers and driver as reverse parking camera with dynamic assist driver expressed-up window and antipinch, bonnet with hydraulic assist, driver expresdown windows, smart key with  central locking, but these  are only available on the top end W10 trim.

Since there have been no changes in the technical department, therefore there is no important change in this department. This also clears that there is need of  room for improvement in the way XUV500 handles. Had there been a successful revamp in the steering, dampers, springs and bars things would have changed upside down for XUV 500. But it cant be said that there has been no change in terms of performance, the SUV did feel more responsible specifically at high speeds, But there is still a big  scope for improvement.
