Honda unveiled the second-generation WR-V in Indonesia in October 2022. The SUV will first go on sale in the Indonesian market and the carmaker is expected to bring it to India sometime in the first half of 2023.

The new-generation update has brought significant changes to the exterior of the WR-V. With this, the SUV gets a modern and unique design, featuring a wide hexagonal-shaped grille, LED headlights, fog lamps, LED rear lights, chunky body cladding, roof rails, and a spoiler. It also features sharp creases on the bonnet and strong shoulder lines that run across the width of the crossover SUV. This new WR-V is also larger in dimensions than its predecessor too.

The interior of the SUV strongly resembles the Honda Amaze. It shares the steering wheel, dashboard design, air-con vents, and touchscreen infotainment system with the sedan. The crossover SUV is further equipped with a host of features and a distinctive interior tone, including Honda Sensing, which is — a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Powering the WR-V is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. This motor produces 119bhp and 145Nm of torque.
